Tour de France stage to be shortened due to ‘intense heatwave’

Tour de France’s organisers on Saturday announced that they will shorten a stage of the race due to intense heat. ASO made this historic decision to cut out a hilly loop at the start of the stageafter France’s weather authority declared a red alert in Corrèze.
