Iran says Hormuz deal with Oman in final stage as Trump signals breakthrough

Iran on Wednesday said an agreement with Oman over the Strait of Hormuz was in its final stages as US President Donald Trump suggested a deal could be announced within days, raising hopes for the easing of a blockade that has disrupted global shipping and fuelled months of conflict.
