On Friday, Liverpool’s majority owners Fenway Sports Group announced the sale of a minority stake in the club a consortium including Jeff Bezos and Facebook co-founder Eduardo Savarin. Former Queens Park Rangers owner Amit Bhatia is expected to become the club’s new vice-chairman as part of the deal.
