Nile crocodile eggs hatch naturally in French zoo following heatwaves

Ten Nile crocodile eggs at a wildlife park in southern France hatched naturally without the need for controlled incubators, zoo authorities said Wednesday. The natural incubation, a first at the reserve for reptiles, occurred following a series of extreme heatwaves over the summer.
