Iran pushes bill to jail citizens who have contact with ‘hostile’ foreign media

The Iranian government has passed the first draft of a bill that would severely punish any person who speaks to foreign media outlets or media professionals deemed “hostile” by the authorities. If passed, the bill could see people jailed for up to 30 years.
